If you were hurt in a motor vehicle accident in BC — no matter who was at fault — ICBC pre-approves treatment for your first 12 weeks. You don't need a doctor's referral, and you don't pay up front for approved visits.

Call ICBC or report online to open your claim — you'll receive a claim number, usually within 24–48 hours.
Book online or call us. Bring your claim number and date of accident to your first visit — that's all the paperwork you need.
A physiotherapist assesses your injuries, documents them for your claim, and starts hands-on treatment right away. Massage and acupuncture are layered in as your plan needs.
We track your progress visit to visit. If you need care beyond the pre-approved block, we submit the extension request to ICBC for you with clinical justification.
