Conditions we treat
Fibromyalgia Support in Surrey, BC
Living with widespread pain and fatigue is exhausting — and care that pushes too hard can set you back. Pacing matters.
What it feels like
- Widespread aching that moves around the body
- Fatigue, unrefreshing sleep and foggy concentration
- Sensitivity to touch, cold or exertion that others find easy
Why it happens
Fibromyalgia involves a nervous system that has become highly protective, amplifying pain signals. It is a real, recognized condition — and because symptoms differ so much between people, cookie-cutter programs tend to fail. What helps one person can flare another.
How we can help
Our approach is gentle and paced: we listen first, assess how your body is responding, and build a plan that respects your current capacity rather than an arbitrary standard. Having physiotherapy, massage therapy and acupuncture under one roof lets your care lean on what your body tolerates best, case by case. We adjust with you, honestly, appointment by appointment.

Common questions
Will exercise make my fibromyalgia worse?
Pushed too hard, it can flare symptoms — which is why pacing is the core of our approach. Movement introduced gradually, at a dose your system tolerates, is one of the better-supported ways to manage fibromyalgia. We find that dose together, carefully.
Which therapy should I start with?
There's no single right answer — some people respond best to gentle hands-on care, others to acupuncture or graded movement. Having physiotherapy, massage therapy and acupuncture under one roof means we can adapt based on what your body actually responds to.
