Ankle Sprain Treatment in Surrey, BC
Rolled your ankle? A sprain that's rehabbed properly recovers far better — and is far less likely to turn into a chronically weak, re-spraining ankle.

What it feels like
- Pain, swelling or bruising after twisting the ankle
- Difficulty putting weight through it
- A feeling of instability, or the ankle 'giving way'
- Repeated rolling on the same ankle over time
Why it happens
A sprain means the ligaments on the outside of the ankle have been overstretched or torn when the foot rolled. The reason so many people re-sprain is simple: the ankle was never fully rehabbed the first time.
How we can help
We assess how the ankle is healing and moving, then build a care plan around restoring the strength, control and confidence a sprain takes away. The plan is reviewed as you progress toward your goals — walking, work, or return to sport. Doing the rehab properly is what separates a one-time sprain from a recurring problem.
Most extended health plans cover treatment, and we direct bill — including ICBC and WorkSafeBC claims. Unsure where to start? Call to book a free 15-minute phone consult.
